NJ and NY Group Tennis Instruction for Kids Ages 3 to 8

Kids Tennis classes are split into two age-groups: 3–4-year-olds and 5–8-year-olds. Tennis skills are built through traditional drills and lively games that spark the imagination. All drills and equipment are age-appropriate, with an emphasis on safety. We use free-standing nets, small rackets and foam balls.

ad-in kids offers year-round children's tennis in New York and New Jersey. Summer classes meet outdoors, and classes in all other seasons meet indoors. No special equipment is required. Kids just need to wear sneakers and bring a bottle of water to drink.

Classes for 3–5-year-olds last 45 minutes. For 5–8-year-olds, 45-minute and 1-hour classes are offered.

SUMMER CAMP 2009 in Montclair

Join us for summer tennis! We are tuning up for the US Open at St. John's Episcopal Church located at 55 Montclair Avenue. Choose any 2 weeks Monday–Thursday for 45-minutes a day. Cost is $149 for Eight 45-minutes classes. Rain or shine we are indoors!

Classes are fast-paced and fun. Because kids’ attention spans are short, drills are changed every few minutes to keep their interest. We play fun games to engage the imagination while teaching the basic skills and language of tennis. Traditional drills introduce the fundamentals and tune up skills. The student-teacher ratio is 5:1, and classes are 45 minutes long.

Kids 3–4 years old will • Tune motor skills • Develop hand-eye coordination • Learn forehand, volley, overhead and footwork • Develop social skills • Have loads of fun.

Classes are open to beginners and advanced beginners only. Kids sharpen their hand-eye and motor skills while learning the fundamentals of tennis. Lessons are fun, fast-paced and non-technical. Playing both competitive and non-competitive games helps develop good sportsmanship. The student-teacher ratio is 5:1, and 45-minute and 1-hour classes are available.
